Quiet location. Away from the crowds. Spectacular sunset and sunrise views. Scenic walk to main town of Imerovigli. Plenty of restaurants, mini markets and fashion shops there. Ilios bakery do food delivery to the accommodation. Amazing pool available for the guests. Housekeeping kept place nice and fresh daily. Manager George provided us with a suite of options upon welcome and arrival. Delicious daily breakfast. Walk around 25 mins to bus stop to Imerovigli which goes to Thira/Fira. From Fira, buses take you to all of the spectacular and unique beaches and islands attractions.

George met us on arrival and explained everything clearly, gave us the keys and an intro to the hotel & the island with recommendations. Good size room and very clean, nice chilled out pool area and just generally a nice hotel. Nothing fancy but everything we wanted & needed. Breakfast delivered to your room every morning was nice. George also helped us with car rental and other assistance which was really appreciated and just in general all the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Matthew

Our host, George, was so welcoming and accommodating. Helped orient us to Santorini, arranged transfers to/from airport and ferry and made sure our breakfast was at a convenient time each morning. Breakfast was delivered to our terrace - a really lovely bonus. Beautiful seaside view with pool! Connects right onto Fira-Oia hike path and a 15-20 minute walk into Imerovigli. We appreciated how quiet the area was as it’s a bit removed from the hustle and bustle of the busier towns.

The room was comfortable and full of character in keeping with local style of building. As there were only seven rooms at the hotel, service was very personal and friendly. Very quiet and calm. Breakfast served every morning to room with wide choice was great. Great views to the east of the island and about a 200 yd walk to the Caldera view. Maria was extremely helpful and very pleasant

Golden East is a hidden gem. It had spectacular view, very nice room with all amenities. It was cleaned daily. Breakfast served every morning.The staff were awesome since before joining and until we left. They made taxi arrangements from and to the airport and even looked for a car rental. We had a short time and they booked a luxury semi private cruise.Awesome and highly recommended.
